Graduated in Medical Physics from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, with a specialization in Medical Physics in the Nuclear Medicine modality at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and a Master's degree in Oncology at the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FCM/UNICAMP). In addition, she was a collaborator at the Pre-Clinical Imaging Laboratory (LIP) at UNICAMP. Currently, she is leader of the Radiological Protection Group of the National Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM), working in national laboratories and in the synchrotron particle accelerator, Sirius.
