Carine Lourenço Alves

I am Dr.-ing from the Institute of Solid Process Engineering and Particle Technology at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) and a Masters degree from RWTH Aachen, I apply my skills and knowledge in metallurgical engineering to optimize materials, methods and processes using application flowsheet simulation, CFD simulations, DEM simulations and data analysis. My research aims to improve the quality, efficiency and sustainability of different manufacturing processes, which have a high economic and environmental impact.Throughout my undergraduate studies at USP, São Paulo, and my master's degree at RWTH, Aachen, Germany, I was always ranked among the best performing students, having the third highest weighted grade during my undergraduate studies, even though I finished a semester earlier than normal duration. I received scientific initiation scholarships throughout my academic life.With over eight years of experience in research and development (RD) in the fields of materials and manufacturing engineering, I have developed strong competences in chemical engineering, physical metallurgy, process simulation, data analysis and experimental design.
