Satie Taniguchi

Graduated in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry (1993), Master degree in Chemical Oceanography by the Oceanographic Institute (1995) and Ph.D. in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry) from the Universidade de São Paulo (2001). She is currently a chemist at Oceanographic Institute of the Universidade de São Paulo. She has experience in the area of Trace Analysis and Environmental Chemistry, acting on the following topics: persistent organic pollutants (organochlorine and organobromine), hydrocarbons, steroids in coastal regions of Brazil and in the Antarctic marine environment using matrices as sediment and organisms.
