Luiz Ricardo is a professor of strategy and entrepreneurship at Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. Before joining the IU, Luiz Ricardo taught Entrepreneurship and Strategy at the University of Navarra (Spain), University of Florida (USA), University of Adelaide (Australia), University of São Paulo (Brazil), and Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (Chile). Luiz holds a Ph.D. in Business Economics from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain, a M.Sc. and B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil, and a B.A. in Law (Brazilian Bar).Luizs research interests lie in strategy and international and comparative corporate governance, particularly in emerging economies and family firms. His scholarly articles have appeared in the Oxford University Press, SAGE Publications, Family Business Review, Corporate Governance: An International Review, Socio-Economic Review, RAE-FGV, and Management Research, among others. Before joining academia, he gained professional experience in strategy, corporate finance, and international consulting projects in Chile, Argentina, Colombia, the U.S., Spain, and Brazil, in multinational consulting companies such as Arthur Andersen, Capgemini, and Symnetics.
