Associate Professor in the Department of Social Sciences at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), as well as in the Graduate Program in Agroecology and Rural Development (PPGADR) and the Graduate Program in Territorial Development and Environment (PPGDTMA/UNIARA). He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2000), a master's degree in Economic Development from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP, 2004), and a PhD in Economic Development also from UNICAMP. A member of the board of the Brazilian Association of Solidarity Economy Researchers (ABPES), he is the coordinator and researcher at the Multidisciplinary and Integrated Center for Studies, Training, and Intervention in Solidarity Economy (NuMI-EcoSol), and a researcher at the Center for Rural Research and Extension (NuPER). He has experience in the field of Economics, with work focused on Economic Development, Rural Development, Agrarian Economics, Peasant Agriculture, and Solidarity Economy (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
