Fernando Ramalho Martins. Ph.D. in Sociology from UFSCar - Federal University of São Carlos (2010), with a sandwich Ph.D. internship at the School of Social Science, University of Cardiff, United Kingdom. Currently, he works as an Assistant Professor affiliated with the Department of Public Administration at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Unesp, Araraquara. He is part of the faculty of the Professional Master's Program in Production Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Unesp, Guaratinguetá. His publications include articles in national journals such as Cadernos EBAPE.BR, Tempo Social, and international journals such as Thesis (Greece) and Trabajo y Sociedad (Argentina). He has translated a book published by Unicamp Publisher and articles in journals such as Contemporânea - UFSCar's Sociology Journal. He has served as an ad hoc reviewer for journals such as Sociologia Antropologia, Economic and Industrial Democracy, Organizações e Sustentabilidade, among others. He was an honorary researcher at the University of Cardiff (2018) and a visiting professor at the University of Birmingham (2015 and 2023). He received international research funding (Newton Fund, 2018-2020). He is affiliated with the research group: "Laboratório de Estudos sobre Trabalho, Profissões e Mobilidades" at UFSCar (LEST-M).
