Lilian Sendretti Rodrigues Macedo

PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of São Paulo (USP), with a research internship period at the Université de Montréal (2023). Holds a Master's degree in Political Science (2018) and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences (2015) from the same institution. Has been a researcher at the Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP) since 2015, working in the Center for Political Institutions and Social Movements and in the Center for Democracy and Collective Action (NDAC). She is a junior researcher at the Center for Metropolitan Studies (CEM) and a researcher at ÉRIGAL (Research Team on Inclusion and Governance in Latin America) at the Université de Montréal. Has experience in Political Science, Political Sociology, and Political Theory, focusing mainly on the following topics: social movements, protests, civil disobedience; radicalization and political extremism; theories of democracy, theories of distributive justice.
