Angela Salinet has a degree in Physiotherapy from PUC CAMPINAS (2002) and a specialization in Physiotherapy Applied to Adult Neurology from the State University of Campinas (2005). She has a Master's degree in Medical Sciences from the Department of Neurology of the School of Medical Sciences - UNICAMP (2008) and completed her doctorate abroad at the University of Leicester, United Kingdom (2014). She has a post-doctorate from the Department of Neurology at FMUSP (FAPESP) and from the postgraduate program in Biomedical Engineering at UFABC (CAPES PNPD). She is a member of the Brazilian Association of Neurofunctional Physiotherapy (Abrafin), scientific reviewer of national and international conferences, of ISI-indexed journals and ad hoc advisor in funding for scientific and technological research (FAPESP and CNPq). She was the scientific coordinator of a research project, CNPq 426440-2018-8, and is collaborating on 3 international research projects. She is currently a collaborating professor in the Physiotherapy (FOFITO) and Neurology departments of the USP School of Medicine. As a physiotherapist, she has over 20 years of clinical experience dedicated to the motor and respiratory rehabilitation of critically ill patients, chronic pain patients and neurological patients. In the teaching field, she has experience in planning and managing Physiotherapy education (mainly in Neurology) at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels (Stricto and lato sensu).
