Currently, a Master's degree holder in the Oncology program at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP), with scientific research titled: "Antineoplastic Effects of Sodium Dichloroacetate (DCA) and Omeprazole (OMP) on Canine Oral Melanoma Cell Lines: A Study of Mechanisms of Action," supported by a FAPESP scholarship with project number 2018/16515-3.She holds a postgraduate degree in Clinical and Surgical Oncology from UFAPE Intercursos. Her academic background includes a degree in Veterinary Medicine from Anhembi Morumbi University (2016), São Paulo, SP - Brazil.She possesses extensive experience and knowledge in the field of medical and veterinary oncology, working as a Veterinary Oncologist at Veros 24-Hour Hospital, Mansão Pet Santana Clinic, and Amistad Clinic. Additionally, she provides mobile oncology services, attending various veterinary clinics and hospitals in São Paulo and the Greater São Paulo area.In the academic and scientific research field, her expertise includes cell culture, pre-clinical studies, antineoplastic drugs, comparative oncology, cancer metabolism, and various biomolecular and in vitro techniques such as immunohistochemistry, ELISA, PCR, flow cytometry, Sea Horse XF, as well as in vivo studies related to cancer metabolism and cellular biology from a comparative perspective.The author completed an externship in the fields of medical, surgical, and radiation oncology at the University of Florida - Small Animal Hospital (2018). She actively participates in various conferences, symposia, training sessions, and courses related to veterinary oncology.In 2017, she received her first award, the "Prof. Dr. José Luis Guerra Award," at the ABROVET conference for the best poster presentation in the comparative oncology category, titled "Investigation of the Effects of Sodium Dichloroacetate, Metformin, and Omeprazole in the Treatment of Canine Oral Melanoma."During her Master's degree at the Faculty of Medicine of USP, in 2019, she received a second scientific award/honorable mention at the XI Oncology Conference for the presentation of a panel titled "Antineoplastic Effects of Dichloroacetate and Omeprazole in Oral Canine Melanoma Cell Line: A Study of the Mechanism of Action."She is a co-author of several articles related to comparative oncology and has recently published an article as the lead author in the high-impact journal Frontiers in Veterinary Cancer: "Antineoplastic Effects of Sodium Dichloroacetate and Omeprazole, Alone or in Combination, on Canine Oral Mucosal Melanoma Cells" DOI: https://doi.org/10.3389/fvets.2023.1186650.The author has been an active member of ABROVET - Brazilian Association of Veterinary Oncology since 2014, as well as the Veterinary Cancer Society in the United States. She frequently participates and has presented her research at various veterinary oncology conferences in Brazil and the United States. In 2020, she delivered an oral presentation at the Veterinary Cancer Society conference (2020) and presented posters at various conferences, including the World Veterinary Cancer Congress, among others.In October 2021, she taught a class on "Glucose Metabolism and the Warburg Effect in Tumor Cells" in the course "Evolution and Trends in Experimental and Comparative Pathology of Domestic, Wildlife, and Marine Animals" of the stricto sensu postgraduate program in Veterinary Medicine in the coastal environment at the University Metropolitana de Santos (UNIMES).Most recently, in August 2023, she conducted classes on "Biosafety in Veterinary Oncology" and "Antineoplastic Chemotherapy" for the postgraduate lato sensu program at Anclivepa College.
