Bibiana Graeff is a Professor at the University of São Paulo (School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities - EACH) since February 2011, teaching courses on Human Rights and aging issues. She is also Professor in the Master degree program in Gerontology and at the University of São Paulo Master and Phd Program in Law. From 2008 to 2010, she served as a professor on Environmental and International Law of the Law School of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Her current researches are concerned with Age-Friendly iniciatives, human migration, environmental justice and Older Persons law. She holds a PhD in Administrative Law from the University of Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne and the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, as well as a Master in Environmental Law from both Universities of Paris I and Paris II. Supervised by Professor Jacqueline Morand-Deviller and Professor Claudia Lima Marques, her PhD thesis on the water supply services received the honour of très honorable, avec les félicitations du jury as well as a recommendation for publishing it. She has published several book chapters and articles through publishing houses and Law Journals such as LHarmattan, Bruylant, Revista dos Tribunais, Juruá, Les Petites Affiches, Revista de Direito Ambiental, Revista Internacional de Direito e Cidadania (REID). Additionaly, Bibiana Graeff was the vice-director of the institution: Instituto de Direito Comparado Brasil-França, dedicated to the promotion of comparative studies regarding both French and Brazilian Law.
