I am a biologist, MSc, and PhD candidate in Zoology at the Postgraduate Programme in Zoology of the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM). Recently, I undertook a six-month research placement (April to September, funded by CAPES) at Middlesex University, London, UK. My research focuses on the feeding ecology and habitat use of primates of the genus Cacajao.I hold a degree in Biological Sciences from the Faculty of Health Sciences of São Paulo (FACIS). I have experience in academic research, wildlife surveying and monitoring, floristic inventories, and environmental management. I am currently involved in the ABC (Amazon, Biodiversity and Carbon) Expedition, coordinated by Carlos Peres, Joseph E. Hawes, and Thor R. Hanson. I have also worked as a Forest Analyst for the National Forest Inventory (IFN), coordinated by the Brazilian Forest Service (SFB), in the states of Tocantins and Maranhão.My professional experience includes environmental consultancy and fieldwork across various ecosystems, including terra firme forests, floodplain forests, savannas, mangroves, and urban areas. Additionally, I have worked in the management of municipal conservation units, teaching at primary and technical education levels, contaminated land management, and urban pest control. I have also collaborated in documentary productions as an assistant botanist and wildlife props coordinator. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
