Birthplace: Brazil

She graduated in Chemistry with Environmental Chemistry assignments from the University of São Paulo (2004-2007), her specialization is in Physical Chemistry with emphasis on vibrational spectroscopy such as Raman and infrared spectroscopy and molecular spectroscopy. During her doctoral degree, she dedicated the study of plasmonic nanocomposites applied in heterogeneous photocatalysis and silicon solar cells (2008-2013 at USP) with a fellowship at the University of Victoria (UVic) in 2010. Her postdoctoral project furthered the study of physicochemical constants employing single-molecule SERS (2014-2015). She was awarded by a visiting professor at the University of Malaga (Malaga, Spain) in 2019. She worked as an assistant professor at the Fluminense Federal University, Volta Redonda Campus (2015-2021). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
