Bachelor's at Civil Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2003), master's at Mechanical Engineering from UNESP - Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2008) and doctorate at Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2012). The researcher is a professor of IFSP - Instituto Federal de São Paulo, campus Itapetininga and developed for 1,5 year a postdoctoral project at UNESP/FEG. Has experience in Material and Civil Engineering, acting on the following subjects: ceramic composites with natural fibers (adobe brick), polymeric composites with sisal or sapegrass fibers produced by compression molding and RTM to use as reinforcement of timber structures, ceramic composite reinforced by natural fibers, epoxy resin, phenolic resin, castor oil-based polyurethane resin and historical building.
