Luiz Carlos Vieira

I hold a degree in Biological Sciences and a Master's degree in Science from the Department of Cellular and Molecular Biology and Pathogenic Bioagents. I worked as a Laboratory Technician (Trainee) and Researcher (Master's Student) at the Virology Research Center (FMRP/USP). Besides that, I have experience as a Laboratory Analyst in the quality control sector at Ouro Fino Saúde Animal, where I performed analytically and quality control tests for different viral vaccines. Currently, I perform biological data analysis from several research areas, in addition to bioinformatics analyzes such as RNA-Seq, transcriptome, metagenomics. For such analysis I use the python, R and bash script programming languages as tools. I have mastery programs such as fastqc, fastp, hisat2, bwa, kallisto, blast, prokka, mmseqs2, samtools etc., R libraries like ggplot2, tidyverse, DESeq2, featureCounts, sleuth, Stats etc., and python library like pandas, matplotlib, seaborn, biopython, statsmodels, scikitlearn, scipy, and environment management with conda.
