Doctor in Nuclear Technology, by USP, in the area of polymer materials. Graduated in Chemistry (Lic., B.Sc. and Technological Attributions) at Mackenzie University and specialist in Marketing at ESPM. Experience in Chemistry, Quality Assurance and Materials Engineering - polymer area, with emphasis on polymeric biomaterials for controlled drug release system, hydrogels, dressings for treating wounds, burns, etc, silver nanoparticles, advanced dressings, and adhesives. I worked in the Henkel group (1986 to 1992), where I acted as Development Chemistry and Application of industrial adhesives (hot melt, polyurethanes, cyanoacrylates, anaerobic adhesives, contact adhesives) and Head of Quality Control (epoxy and polyamide resins) Shellmar Embalagem Moderna Ltda (1993 to 1994) as Technical Assistant to Suppliers of Chemicals in the Quality Assurance Department at HBFuller Brasil Ltda (1997 - 1998) as Product Technical Specialist I worked with Development and Technical Assistance of PVAc adhesives, Hot melt, caseins and polyamides and in Cyprus Com. Imp. And Export. Ltda. (1999-2001) as Responsible Chemistry, I worked with chlorine dioxide. At IPEN (2003 - current) i worked on polymer biomaterial projects for controlled drug release (CNPq / DTI) in partnership with Biolab Sanus Farmacêutica and currently with advanced dressing with JHS Biomaterials.
