Giovanni Bortoloni Perin

I have a PhD (Direct Doctorate Scholarship - Fapesp) from the State University of Campinas (2023), with an emphasis on Synthesis and Physical-Chemical Characterization of Polymers and Colloids. I completed an Academic Internship (BEPE/Fapesp) at the Institute Leibniz for Polymer Reserach (2022) during the doctorate. I have a bachelor's degree in Technological Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (2017), with an emphasis on Synthesis and Physical-Chemical Characterization of Polymers. During my undergraduate studies, I received a Fapesp Scientific Initiation scholarship (2014-2016). I completed an Academic Internship at the University of Groningen (2016) through a BEPE-Fapesp scholarship. Currently post-doctoral researcher at the State University of Campinas (Fapesp Scholarship) with an emphasis on Physical Chemistry of Polymers and Colloids. He has experience in the area of Polymers, working mainly on the following topics: Synthesis of polymers and monomers via enzymatic catalysis, characterization of polymers in solution and solid state, preparation and characterization of simple colloidal structures, such as nanoparticles and polymeric vesicles, and synthetic protocellular structures that aim to mimic biological cells.
