Alex Domingos Reis

I am a biomedical professional with expertise in clinical analysis, molecular biology, and bioinformatics applied to medical genomics. During my undergraduate studies, I was a scientific initiation scholarship holder (FAPESP) and interned in virology and molecular biology at the Virology Laboratory of FCM/UNICAMP and at Labormed, Hospital Evangélico de Sorocaba. Additionally, I completed advanced training at the Enteric Diseases Department of the Adolfo Lutz Institute (FUNDAP) and worked as a scientific investigator at the Pasteur Institute, as well as a scholarship holder in the FEDIAL program at the Adolfo Lutz Institute, focusing on infections by special pathogens.I hold a postgraduate degree in Bioinformatics Applied to Medical Genomics from the Sociedade Beneficente Israelita Brasileira Albert Einstein and a Master's in Sciences from the State of São Paulos Disease Control Coordination. Currently, I work as a biologist at the Large-Scale Sequencing Laboratory (SELA) at the Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo (USP), specializing in NGS and Array, utilizing various kits and platforms.
