Carolina Kravetz

She is currently a PhD student at FEAGRI - UNICAMP, developing a project with LabEND (Laboratory of Non-Destructive Tests). She has international experience in wood chemistry research, with activities at renowned universities such as Imperial College of London and North Carolina State University, which contributed to the publication of articles. She also has experience in the area of process improvement with a 3 month internship at the company UPM in Lappeenranta, Finland, working on the oxygen delignification stage. Regarding the published works, in 2014 part of it was presented at the XI International Junior Forest Contest in Saint Petersburg, Russia and in 2018 it was awarded the 3rd place of the George Marra award by the Society of Wood Science and Technology. Most of the work was developed during the undergraduate course in Forestry Engineering (2011-2015) at the Higher School of Agriculture "Luiz de Queiroz" - University of São Paulo (ESALQ/USP), at which institution he also studied the Degree in Agricultural Sciences. , in the same period, and between 2016 and 2018, the Master of Science in the area of Forest Resources was developed with the dissertation "Study of the energy performance of boilers in the kraft pulp industry". She worked in the field of education, in private schools, in elementary school final years, in the discipline of science. She gained experience in pedagogical coordination for a period of 6 months and in the development of projects for the school's annual science fair. Complementary training through short courses such as: Advanced Excel, Introduction to basic laboratory techniques, Quality and process management, etc. and specialization completed in 2021 through the MBA in Project Management (ESALQ/USP).
