She is a bachelor at Materials Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (2013). She has a master's (2016) and doctoral (2020) degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the same university. She is currently a professor in the Federal university of Itajubá (UNIFEI). Her research is focused on materials engineering, polymers, polymer's processing, composites and nanocomposites, polymer-metal hybrid joining, and mechanical characterization. She is especially interested in biomimetics studies, starting from the description of biological structures to the design of bioinspired materials. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
