Undergrad in Mechanical Engineering at the National University of Colombia in 2011. MS.c. in Mechanical Engineering at the State University of Campinas in 2013. Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the State University of Campinas in 2018. Seven Years as Invited Fellow at the Brazilian Nanotechnology National Laboratory LNNano - CNPEM. Six-month doctoral visit at the University of Tennessee in 2014. Twelve-month doctoral visit at the Ohio State University in 2016. Research experience in Friction Stir Welding of martensitic and duplex stainless steels during MS.c. Research experience in thermomechanical simulation during synchrotron x-ray diffraction and advanced characterization techniques in martensitic stainless steels and TRIP carbon steels. My current research areas involve heat treatment and phase transformations, transmission and scanning electron microscopy, focused ion beam sample preparation, atom probe tomography and computational thermodynamics.
