Professor of Geography at the Federal University of Latin American Integration (UNILA), with activities in ILATIT - Latin American Institute of Technology, Infrastructure and Territory. Ex-Coordinator of the Mercosur Institute for Advanced Studies at UNILA (IMEA/UNILA). PhD in Human Geography from the Faculty of Philosophy, Literature and Humanities of the University of São Paulo - FFLCH/USP (2013). Bachelor's degree in Geography from the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP (2005). He has experience in theoretical scientific research, and with applied science through the practice of territorial planning, and also worked as a trainer of basic education teachers (2010 to 2014). In the field of research, his main interest is for works that produce interpretations and solutions for confronting socio-spatial inequalities in Latin America and the Caribbean. He has had the opportunity to work as a researcher in several projects funded by CNPq, CAPES, FAPESP and the Ministry of Justice of Brazil - MJ, mainly on the following topics: Territorial Planning: urban and regional; Brazilian Criminal Justice System; Brazilian and São Paulo Penitentiary System; Unified Health System (SUS); Territorial dynamics of voting, politics and elections; Training of Geography teachers; Geographic Information Systems and Digital Thematic Cartography. He held a doctoral internship at the Institut Français de Géopolitique - IFG (foundation and presidency of Yves Lacoste) at the Université de Paris 8 between 2011 and 2012.
