He is a professor of the Departamento de Geoquímica (GEO) of Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF). D.Sc. in Soil and Plant Nutrition, focusing on Pedogenesis and Soil Geography by the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (ESALQ / USP; CAPES 7). Master's Degree in Agronomy / Soils and Plant Nutrition, focusing in Soils Genesis, Characterization, and Applied Pedology, by the Federal University of Ceará (UFC, CAPES 4), working mainly on the following topics: Biogeochemistry, Soil Genesis, Carbon Dynamics, Soil Contamination and Coastal Wetlands. Agronomist graduated from the Federal University of Ceará (2010), awarded the distinction "Magna cum laude" for his academic performance. He was a Scholarship Program (PET-Agronomy / UFC) for 8 semesters, until 2010.2, when he left for an international research scholarship (Santiago de Compostela, Spain). He was a postdoctoral fellow at FAPESP (2017-2018), investigating the dynamics of the pedogenic processes involved in the sequestration of C. He currently holds a scholarship from the Young Scientist of Our State program (FAPERJ) and is a permanent professor in the Graduate Program in Geosciences (Geochemistry) at UFF (CAPES 6).
