Birthplace: Brazil

Biomedical Scientist graduated by Universidade Metodista de São Paulo and Master in Medical Sciences - Genetic disorders of development and metabolism at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo, having developed a master's dissertation at the Laboratory of Genetics and Molecular Cardiology (LGCM) of the Heart Institute of USP Medical School (InCor / HC-FMUSP). Is currently the Cell Culture Coordinator at the biotechnology startup PluriCell Biotech., working on cell therapy projects using hiPSC-CM. Has been developing projects related to in vitro studies of cardiac diseases since an undergrad student at the Laboratory of Cardiovascular Immunology (UFABC) where evaluated the participation of the NF-kB pathway in cardiomyocyte hypertrophy after treatment with a TLR4 agonist (2014-2016). In her second scientific initiation project carried out at LGCM (InCor-FMUSP), she assessed the response of cardiomyocytes after infection by Trypasoma cruzi and the effect of different drugs in this process (2016). With the oral presentation of this project, she won the 2nd place at the InCor Scientific Initiation Symposium (2016). During the master's degree, she used hiPSC-CM to evaluate the relationship between T. cruzi and these cells through the modulation of different pathways (2017-2019). Has experience with molecular biology, cell culture, image analysis and writing and submission of projects for evaluation by the Ethics Committee on the Use of Animals (CEUA) and the Research Ethics Committee (CEP).
