Kelli Cristina Freitas Mariano

I am a pharmacist graduated from UNI ABC - Universidade do Grande ABC (2013) with a full scholarship from PROUNI. During my undergraduate studies, I developed scientific research in the pharmaceutical area, focused on hormone replacement. I hold a master's degree in biosystems with a FAPESP scholarship from UFABC - Universidade Federal do ABC (2014 - 2016) in the area of #8203;#8203;nanostructured systems for controlled drug release. My research consisted of the development and characterization of a system composed of thermoreversible hydrogels and polymeric nanoparticles for intra-articular drug release, where we obtained the patent for this work. Continuing in the same research area, I completed my doctorate through research on new nanotechnological systems for controled release in biomedical and pharmaceutical field, with a full scholarship from CAPES (2018 - 2021). In 2021, I started as professor at Faculdades SENAI/SP, in the pharmacy and biotechnology courses, where I worked until 12/2023, focusing on the topics of pharmacology, biochemistry, analytical chemistry and pharmacotechnics. Currently, I am a collaborating researcher at the postdoctoral level at the Federal University of ABC, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amedea Barozzi Seabra, in the research area of #8203;#8203;preparation of nanostructured biomaterials that release bioactives for medical and agricultural applications.
