Alexandre holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Electrical Engineering from State University of Campinas (Unicamp), as well as a specialization in Data Science from the Federal Institute of São Paulo. He has over 25 years of experience in RD in Information and Communication Technologies in private companies in Brazil, working on topics such as: AI/machine learning, development of medical equipment, human-computer interaction, embedded software, telecommunications, optical communications, digital signal processing, Smart Grid and digital inclusion. He has worked as a consultant, technical coordinator, researcher and software developer, on projects with clients in Brazil (government and private initiative), the USA and Europe. He has experience in Edge-AI. He has experience in software development in Python, C, C++ and Yocto. He has experience in researching new interaction models for users with low literacy and disabilities. He has participated as an author of over a dozen articles published in national and international events, as well as a national patent. He has experience in preparing RD projects and reports for funding agencies. He has experience in presenting articles at events in Brazil and abroad.
