PhD candidate (2019 - Present) in Sociology at USP - University of São Paulo, with academic mobility at Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP), during which she served as a visiting researcher at CISEPA - Center for Sociological, Economic, Political, and Anthropological Research (2024). She holds a Master's degree (2016) and a Bachelor's degree (2012) in Social Sciences from UNIFESP - Federal University of São Paulo. Currently, she is a researcher at the Center for Political Institutions and Social Movements, CEBRAP - Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning. She was an Annotator in the FFLCH-USP/Koç University partnership: The Politics of Welfare in Emerging Market Economies (2020), and she was part of the Brazilian research team in the project Abortion Rights Lawfare in Latin America (2015-2017), through the partnership between Fundação Getulio Vargas - FGV and Chr. Michelsen Institute. In her research, she investigates mobilizations around the issue of abortion in contemporary Brazil, based on the theory of political contention. Her research interests focus on the broader field of political sociology, with an emphasis on studies of collective action and social movements related to issues of sexuality and reproduction.
