Carolina Alves Freiria de Oliveira

Graduated in Dentistry from the Ribeirão Preto School of Dentistry, University of São Paulo (FORP-USP), and holds a Master's degree in Oral Rehabilitation from the same institution. Specialist in Dental Prosthetics from ABO/Alfenas. During her undergraduate studies, she dedicated herself to scientific initiation in the area of #8203;#8203;cell biology, with experience in osteoblast culture. After graduation, she worked clinically for three years in her own practice, focused on oral rehabilitation. In 2023, she entered the Doctoral program in Oral Rehabilitation at FORP-USP, investigating hygiene solutions for Removable Partial Dentures. As part of her doctorate, she is undertaking a period as a Visiting International Research Student at the University of Melbourne (Australia), under the supervision of professors Dr. Khaled Ahmed, Dr. Alastair Sloan, and Dr. Stuart Dashper (CAPES/PDSE 2025 scholarship recipient), deepening her research on the interface between microbiology and dental materials, as well as the profile of Removable Partial Denture users.
