Agronomist from São Paulo State University (Unesp), School of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences (FCAV), Jaboticabal. He holds a master's degree (2019) and PhD (2022) in Agronomy (Crop Production) from the same institution. He is currently a professor at the Department of Engineering at Unesp/FCAV, working with water resources and Executive Director of the Brazilian Association of Agricultural Engineering (SBEA). He was a professor at Faculdades Associadas de Uberaba/MG (FAZU). He has experience in the areas of irrigation and phytotechnics, working on soil and water management, water deficit, subsurface drip irrigation, remote sensing, precision irrigation, modeling and crop management and physiology. Participates in research groups on Irrigation and Environment (GpIMA), Soil Physics (GpFIS) and Sustainability in Agricultural Systems (SAGRIS). At college, teaches the disciplines of Rural Constructions and Energy, Techinical Drawing, Hydrology and Drainage and Hydraulics. In graduate school, teaches the subject Irrigated agriculture: water management and precision irrigation. Ad-hoc reviewer for national and international scientific journals.
