I received a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo in 2002, and I attended to master's studies in Systems Engineering at the same institution, interrupted in 2014. I have got over 17 years of experience in the development of hardware and software for embedded systems, with emphasis on data acquisition, instrumentation and control, making broad use of microprocessors, microcontrollers and FPGAs. I supported the aerogeophysical and automotive industries for almost a decade, period I worked intensively with Brazilian, Russian, German, French and American R&D teams. As an entrepreneur I ran a small business designing and manufacturing mechatronic and telematic systems for the automotive and printing industries. Since 2014 I work on the design of a Cherenkov camera employing silicon photomultipliers for the CTA - Cherenkov Telescope Array - as Associate Researcher at INAF - Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica - in Palermo, Italy, with a FAPESP fellowship.
