Graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (1992) and PhD in Medicine (Cardiology) from the Federal University of São Paulo (2004). She is currently Associate Professor III of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. Has experience in Medicine, Clinical Medicine and Cardiology, focusing on Heart Failure, Cardiomyopathies, Heart Transplantation and Epidemiology of Cardiovascular Diseases. Educational technologies and medical education. She is a member of the FAIMER-PHILADELFIA program, which aims to develop and train teachers in teaching strategies and research in medical education. She is currently head of postgraduate unit at Onofre Lopes University Hospital (HUOL / EBSERH) and Faculty member of the Professional Master's Degree in Health Education (MPES), of the Graduate Program in Health Education at UFRN. Member of the Brazilian Societies of Cardiology (SBC), the Department of Heart Failure (DEIC) and the Brazilian Group of Cardio-Oncology (GBCO) of the SBC, in addition to the Brazilian Association of Medical Education (ABEM) and the Association of Medical Education in Europe ( AMEE).
