Currently works as a nurse in the municipal public health system of Piracicaba/SP, Brazil, at a Primary Health Care Unit, where she also coordinates the elderly group Mente em Movimento (Mind in Motion), focused on health education, active aging promotion, and the use of modern board games as ludic-cognitive strategies. Previously worked at Santa Casa de Piracicaba, with experience in Medical Ward Nursing and Oncology Center. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she worked in an emergency care unit exclusively for suspected and confirmed cases of the disease. She also has experience as a Family Health Strategy nurse.She completed a postdoctoral fellowship (2020) in the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Program at the Federal University of São Paulo (Baixada Santista Campus), with an emphasis on biomaterials and tissue engineering. Holds a Ph.D. (2018) and a Masters degree (2014) from the same program, focusing on morphology and burn injury studies. Graduated in Nursing from the Federal University of São Carlos (2011).Her research experience includes molecular and cellular biology, cell culture, animal experimentation, biomaterials, macro and microscopic morphology, morphoquantitative analysis, systemic and metabolic alterations, thermal injuries, and Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
