He earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education from Unesp Faculty of Sciences and Technology (FCT/Unesp) and a degree in Pedagogy from Faculdade Educacional da Lapa (FAEL). He is a Specialist in Brazilian Sign Language (Libras): Practice and Translation/Interpreting from the University of Western São Paulo (Unoeste), a Specialist in Distance Education from FAEL, and a Specialist in Special and Inclusive Education from Faculdade Futura. Coordinator of the Esperançar Extension Group at ICMC/USP. Member of the Research Group on Mathematics Education and Inclusion (Épura) at IGCE/Unesp, the Policies and Practices in Inclusive Education Group (PPEI) at Unoeste, and the MatematiQueer Group: Studies on Gender and Sexualities in Mathematics Education at UFRJ.
