Denner Dias Barros

Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Institute of Mathematical and Computer Sciences of the University of São Paulo (ICMC/USP). Permanent Professor in the Graduate Program in Education at the School of Education of USP (PPGE/FEUSP). Collaborating Professor in the Graduate Program in Mathematics Teaching (PEMAT) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from the Graduate Program in Mathematics Education (PPGEM) at São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (Unesp) Institute of Geosciences and Exact Sciences of Unesp (IGCE/Unesp). He also holds a Master's degree in Mathematics Education from IGCE-Unesp. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education from Unesp Faculty of Sciences and Technology (FCT/Unesp) and a degree in Pedagogy from Faculdade Educacional da Lapa (FAEL). He is a Specialist in Brazilian Sign Language (Libras): Practice and Translation/Interpreting from the University of Western São Paulo (Unoeste), a Specialist in Distance Education from FAEL, and a Specialist in Special and Inclusive Education from Faculdade Futura. Coordinator of the Esperançar Extension Group at ICMC/USP. Member of the Research Group on Mathematics Education and Inclusion (Épura) at IGCE/Unesp, the Policies and Practices in Inclusive Education Group (PPEI) at Unoeste, and the MatematiQueer Group: Studies on Gender and Sexualities in Mathematics Education at UFRJ.
