Maria Elisa is a biologist, graduated from University of São Paulo in 2015. She is currently a master student at the biochemistry department of the chemistry institute at University of São Paulo. In her master project, she researches the role of the kinin-kallikrein system in cardiomyocyte in vitro differentiation. The student is oriented by Prof. Dr. Henning Ulrich, who also oriented her scientific initiation, when she studied the enrichment of cancer stem cells in glioblastoma multiforme. In 2013, the student did a one year exchange program to Newcastle University (UK), where she studied Biomedical Sciences. Maria Elisa has experience in the area of General Biology, with emphasis on electrophysiology, cell culture, flow cytometry and molecular biology. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
