Edmundo Burgos Cruz

M.Sc. (1991) and Ph.D. (1997) in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Polytechnic School of São Paulo (USP) and MBA in Project Management from FGV (2010). Currently he is the Coordinator of metallurgical processes of The Technology Center of CBMM. Coordinated the Production and Environmental Engineering courses at UNIARAXÁ, Araxa, MG. Expert in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, mainly in processes and metallurgical equipment, processes and product development,, recycling, reuse and treament of industrial tailings and residues. Works on the following topics: comminution, agglomeration (pelletizing, briquetting and sintering) and reduction of ores and residues, refining and solidification of steels and ferroalloys and in the development of new products based on iron, aluminium and niobium.
