Graduated in Biological Sciences (Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar) and master in Fauna Conservation (UFSCar/São Paulo Zoological Park). Currently, is a Doctorate student in the Post-Graduate Program in Ecology and Natural Resources (UFSCar) developing studies related to the spatial and movement ecology of a recently reintroduced population of Alagoas-curassow, a species that went completely extinct in the wild during the last 1970s.
