Isabela da Costa Ribeiro

Dr Isabela has a bachelor in Nutrition from theFederal University of Paraná (1996), and earned her Master (2001) and Doctorate (2007) degrees in Nutrition from the Federal University of São Paulo. Currently she is an epidemiologist with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, USA. Dr. Isabela is a professor at the Pontiff Catholic University of Paraná. Dr. Isabela accumulated a rich experience in public health including various peer reviewed publications and conference presentations in national and international venues. Her main áreas of interesse are: chronic disease prevention, promotion of physical activity and healthy eating, obesity epidemiology, program evaluation, impact of urban planning and the environment on life style, and nutrition transition.
