The plasticizers market of polyvinyl chloride, PVC, in Brazil is about 200 thousand tons per year, making it interesting to study new alternatives to di(Ethyl Hexyl Phthalate) (DEHP or DOP - dioctyl phthalate), the plasticizer used in more countries.
