Birthplace: Brazil

Professor of Agronomy at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rondônia. I hold a PhD (2020) and a Masters degree (2016) in Soil Science and Plant Nutrition from ESALQ/USP, and a Bachelors degree in Agronomy from the Federal University of Rondônia (2014). Throughout my academic journey, I was awarded a Doctoral fellowship from CAPES, a Masters fellowship from FAPESP, three Scientific Initiation fellowships from CAPES and CNPq, and an international scholarship through the Santander Universities TOP Spain Program at the University of Salamanca. My research focuses on fertilizer technology, soil fertility, and plant nutrition. I have developed expertise in the evaluation of enhanced-efficiency nitrogen fertilizers and in identifying strategies to mitigate nitrogen losses in agricultural systems. Currently, my work centers on investigating the long-term effects of nitrogen fertilization and agricultural management practices on soil carbon and nitrogen stocks, as well as strategies to improve soil fertility and the overall efficiency of fertilization practices. In addition, I develop and assess technologies aimed at increasing fertilization efficiency, including the use of liming and the utilization of agricultural byproducts as raw materials for fertilizer production. I am also involved in research on alternative phosphate sources to promote more sustainable and resource-efficient agricultural systems. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
