Bruna is currently an undergraduate student of Biomedical Sciences at Federal University of Sao Paulo (UNIFESP), having been awarded with a scholarship provided by the Brazilian Government Foundation CAPES to study a year abroad at The University of York, UK, during the academic year of 2012/2013. Her research experiences include undergraduate projects at the Department of Biochemistry of UNIFESP, supervised by Dr. Aparecida Sadae Tanaka between 2010 and 2012, and at the Department of Biology (Neuroscience) of the University of York, supervised by Dr. Sean Sweeney throughout 2013.
