Elyse Moritz Sacconato

I am a biochemical pharmacist (UFSC, Brazil, 2002) with a specialization in Hematology and Hemotherapy (UNIFESP, Brazil, 2004), a Ph.D. in Sciences (UNIFESP, Brazil, 2009), and advanced training in Neutrophil Immunobiology (JLU, Germany, 2019).Currently, I serve as the head of the Brazilian Reference Laboratory for Granulocyte Immunobiology and the Advanced Immunohematology Laboratory at the UNIFESP Blood Center. I also supervise graduate students in the postgraduate program in Hematology and Hemotherapy at UNIFESP, where I am actively involved in academic teaching and technical training.Memberships and Mentorships:-Founding member of the Interdisciplinary Neutropenia Group (GRIN/UNIFESP, since 2019). -Member of the Granulocyte Immunobiology Working Party of the International Society of Blood Transfusion (GIWP/ISBT, since 2021). -Mentor in the ISBT Mentorship Programme.
