He is currently a PhD candidate in Civil Engineering (Geotechnics) at Queen's University and is pursuing a specialization in GeoEngineering at the same institution. He has a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (2017) and a master's degree in Civil Engineering - Concentration area: Structures and Geotechnics from the Federal University of São Carlos (2020). He has a specialization in Teaching in Higher Education and a specialization in Active Teaching-Learning Methodologies in Education, both from the University of Uberaba (UNIUBE). He worked as a substitute professor at the Department of Mining/Civil Construction at CEFET MG/Araxá and at the University of Uberaba. He has experience in the area of Civil Engineering and Engineering Education, working mainly on the following topics: geosynthetics, environmental geotechnics, degradation of geomembranes, urban solid waste, engineering education, geotechnical characterization, stability analysis and soil improvement.
