Master in Science from the Department of Zoology at the University of São Paulo, with an international internship at Smith College (Massachusetts). Experience as a laboratory technician with the cultivation of microorganisms and molecular biology. Currently with a PhD in progress at the Department of Zoology at the University of São Paulo, with an international internship at Real Jardín Botánico, CSIC (Madrid). My current research area is the Ecology and Evolution of testate amoebae living under stress conditions. We combined a strategy of exploring Arcellinida communities in the environment using metabarcoding, and laboratory experiments simulating low-oxygen and arsenic-contaminated environments using molecular biology techniques such as real-time quantitative PCR and next-generation sequencing. Experience in university management activities, such as student representation (2019-2020) and financial management (2019-2022).
