I am an Environmental Engineer from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) (2014-2019). I hold a Master's degree (2021) and I am a PhD candidate in Chemical Engineering at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), where I conduct research in the Process and Product Development Department. Currently, I am engaged in research funded by Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. (PETROBRAS) on the development of biopolymeric hydrogels for oil dewatering. I am also part of a sandwich doctorate program in the Chemical and Materials Engineering department at the University of Alberta, supported by the CAPES-PrINT program (2024). During my Master's, I focused on microalgae biorefinery research, particularly on cultivation and metabolite extraction. I served as a monitor for PIBIC-EM projects on microalgae cultivation and biopolymer development for oil treatment. I have completed Teaching Internships in Bioengineering at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and in Air Pollution Control at the Faculty of Technology, both at UNICAMP. My graduate research at the Water, Wastewater, and Reuse Laboratory centered on the advanced treatment of industrial wastewater, specifically targeting the removal of persistent toxic contaminants via adsorption. I undertook a Research Internship at the Institute for Interactive Materials and the Institute for Process Engineering at RWTH Aachen University in Germany (2017). Additionally, I taught as a Professor/Monitor of Inorganic Chemistry in the preparatory course for the entrance exam affiliated with UNESP (2018-2019). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
