Adjunct Professor at the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (UFJF), working in the Department of Biochemistry at the Institute of Biological Sciences. Holds a Ph.D. in Sciences (Toxicology) from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto University of São Paulo (USP, 2014), with a postdoctoral fellowship in Toxicology (USP, 2017). During her Ph.D., she completed a sandwich internship at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK (20132014). Earned a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the Universidade Federal de Alfenas (UNIFAL-MG, 2009). Worked as a pharmaceutical analyst (20092010) and as a researcher (20172019) at the Analytical Development and Validation Laboratory of the RD Department of Medquímica Pharmaceutical Industry (Juiz de Fora, MG). Has experience in the areas of analytical and environmental toxicology and basic and clinical biochemistry, with an emphasis on: (i) development and validation of analytical methods for determining chemical elements and organic compounds, particularly endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) such as Bisphenol A and phthalates, in environmental, food, and biological samples; (ii) chemical characterization of bioactive compounds in plants; (iii) assessment of biochemical parameters. Also has expertise in chemical speciation analysis and the use of advanced analytical techniques, including HPLC-ICP-MS, LC-MS/MS, and GC-MS. Member of the CNPq-certified research group "Translational Biochemistry Applied to Health: Macromolecules, Cell Signaling, and Toxicology" at UFJF. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
