Holds a degree in Automation and Control Engineering (2010), a Master's degree (2012), a PhD (2017) and a Post-Doctorate (2018) in Systems Engineering, all from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (Poli/USP). He was a pioneer in Plantwide Control research in Brazil. He works with Dynamic Digital Twins, Plantwide Control, Production Planning and Scheduling, Control and Industry 4.0 topics. He is the Founder-CEO of Minerva Controls, a deep tech startup specialized in the creation and application of Dynamic Digital Twins. He has experience in Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis on Control and Automation, working mainly on the following topics: system identification, optimal controller tuning, plantwide control, industrial process control, multi-objective optimization, industrial automation and production planning and scheduling.
