Currently, PhD student at Monash University (Melbourne, Australia), with focus on genome-wide association studies of functional gastrointestinal diseases for precision medicine. Master in Medical Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Sao Paulo (FMUSP), with dissertation focused on the field of Pharmacogenetics (funded by FAPESP) and BSc of Physical and Biomolecular Sciences from the University of Sao Paulo (IFSC-USP). Accomplished a study abroad in the USA (at the State University of New York) during 18 months, through the Brazil Scientific Mobility Program (BSMP), which financed scholarships for academic excellence students by the auspices of the Brazilian government (CAPES) and performed a supervised research at the RNA Institute of the State University of New York at Albany. Research experience in diverse fields of biological sciences, such as: Pharmacogenetics/Precision Medicine, Developmental Biology/Genetics, Neuropsychopharmacology, Nanobiotechnology, Synthetic Biology, and Molecular Biology.
