Bachelor's degree in Medical Physics from the Sao Paulo State University. Master's degree in "General and Applied Biology" from Sao Paulo State University. PhD in a joint program in "Pharmacology and Biotechnology" at the Sao Paulo State University and "Santé, Sciences Biologiques et Chimie du Vivant" at the University of Orléans in France. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biophysics and Pharmacology at the Institute of Biosciences-Campus of Botucatu (UNESP). He also serves as a mentor in the Medical Physics-Radiology Residency program at the Botucatu Medical School. He is currently a researcher at the Instituto Brasília de Tecnologia e Inovação (IBTI) working on the Advanced Hardware for Medical Imaging (HAPI) project. He is part of the current Board of Directors (2024-2025) of the Brazilian Association of Medical Physics. His main interests are signal processing and medical images, development of computational algorithms, optimization of imaging techniques in radiology, development of tools to aid medical diagnosis and development of hardware for the medical field.
