Bachelor's degree in Medical Physics from the São Paulo State University. Master's degree in "General and Applied Biology" from São Paulo State University. PhD in a joint program in "Pharmacology and Biotechnology" at the São Paulo State University and "Santé, Sciences Biologiques et Chimie du Vivant" at the University of Orléans in France. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biophysics and Pharmacology at the Institute of Biosciences-Campus of Botucatu (UNESP). He is also a researcher at Instituto Hardware BR (HBR), working on the Advanced Hardware for Medical Imaging (HAPI) project, which developed an X-ray Computed Tomography scanner. He is a member of the current Board of Directors (20242025 term) of the Brazilian Association of Medical Physics, where he holds the position of Treasurer. His main interests include medical signal and image processing, development of computational algorithms, creation of tools to support medical diagnosis, application of solut,ions with artificial intelligence, and development of medical hardware.
