Henrique Magri Marçon

Currently PhD candidate in the SynTech CDT at the University of Cambridge working on the SynTech CDT under the supervision of Prof. Jonathan Goodman and Alexei Lapkin. Henrique acts on the interface of reaction discovery, automation, and optimisation by combining robotic platofrms for solid and liquid dosing, chemoinformatics, data science, and other tools. He also acts as an active member of the Innovation Centre in Digital Molecular Technologies (iDMT), supporting start-ups, small, and medium entreprises with the digital transition in their chemical development. He pursued a Master at UNICAMP under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Julio Cezar Pastre in continuous flow and green chemistry. Graduated in Chemistry from UNICAMP and engineering from ESPCI Paris, has worked with Prof. Dr. Ronaldo A. Pilli, Prof. Dr. Amandine Guérinot and Prof. Dr. Janine Cossy. During his PhD, he has organised the MABC (Machine Learning and AI in Bio Chemical Engineering Conference, 2022-2023) and hackathons both in the SynTech CDT (AI for fragrances in chemistry, 2023) and in the 28th Green Chemistry and Engineering Conference (GCE, 2024).
