Post-doctorate in Education from the Faculty of Education of the University of São Paulo (2018). PhD in School Education from the São Paulo State University 'Júlio de Mesquita Filho' (2001); Master in Education - Teaching Methodology - from the Federal University of São Carlos (1996) and graduated in Social Sciences (Full Degree and Bachelor's Degree) from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1992). She has experience in basic education and higher education, develops teaching, research and extension work, with an emphasis on student and teacher learning-development processes. She is currently a Full Professor at the Faculty of Education, at the Federal University of Uberlândia, acting as a member of the permanent staff of the Master's and Doctorate courses of the Postgraduate Program in Education (where she acted as substitute coordinator). She is an ad hoc consultant for CNPq and Capes; member of the editorial board of the Brazilian Journal of Teacher Training, the Itinerarius Reflectionis Journal, the Education and Philosophy Journal, among others. Coordinator of the Study and Research Group on Developmental Didactics and Teacher Professionalization (Gepedi), at the Federal University of Uberlândia and member of the Study and Research Group on Pedagogical Activity (GEPAPe), at USP/SP. She worked as project coordinator for the Education Observatory Program (Capes), the Minas Gerais Researcher Program - PPM - Fapemig and the Institutional Program of Scholarships for Teaching Initiation - PIBID/Capes. Supervisor of sandwich doctorates (from Cuba) and doctorates in agreements established between the Ministries of Education and Culture of Brazil and Mozambique; and supervisor of post-doctorates. Editor-in-chief of the journal Obuchenie - Journal of Didactics and Pedagogical Psychology, Editor of the Psychopedagogical and Didactic Library Collection. Editor of the Developmental Teaching Series. Member of the board of directors of the National Association of Didactics and Teaching Practices (ANDIPE) and of the International Academy of Historical-Cultural Studies/Mexico. Topics of study: learning-development processes; developmental didactics; activity theory; developmental learning theory, historical-cultural psychology; research methods in the approaches of developmental didactics.
