Patricio Alejandro Hernáez Bové

Patricio Hernáez is a marine biologist with an interest in evolutionary biology, natural/exploited population dynamics, and ecological patterns at both local and regional scales. He has carried out academic and professional activities in oceanographic systems of temperate and tropical waters, both in intertidal environments and in shallow and deep-water environments. He has articles and book chapters published in peer-reviewed journals. Also, he is a reviewer in peer-reviewed journals and participated in national and international meetings. He is currently a substitute professor at the Universidade Estadual Paulista UNESP, a postdoctoral fellow at the Museu de Oceanografia of the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco UFPE, Brazil, and an associate researcher at the Universidad de Tarapacá UTA, Chile.
